Shem makes his mark in the north before we leave Durness. How none of the hills from Durness to Thurso warrant an arrow on my map is beyond me but at least there was less rain today and the scenery was still gorgeous. Perhaps the strong headwind was why I felt probably worse at the end of the day (only 76 miles) than any time before - fortunately less cycling ahead in the next two days.
